Dear Arcade Elementary Families,
We hope that you had a safe and enjoyable February break! This time between February and April break is where so much big learning happens, and we continue to emphasize the importance of good attendance. That said, we know we aren’t yet out of cold and flu season, so it’s a balance.
Students must be fever-free for 24 hours before returning after illness (without the use of fever-reducing medications). They should also be free of any vomiting or diarrhea for 24 hours as well, all of which does help to reduce the spread of these illnesses.
Our spring chorus has begun rehearsals and will have an opportunity to perform for our school board at the meeting we are hosting on March 18th . We are also looking forward to Dr. Seuss Week, STEAM Night, Free Movie Night, and lots of fun activities in classes! We appreciate all of your support, and in particular the support of our HSA, who make many of these events possible.
