Pioneer Middle School is welcoming one of its own to its administrative team.

At the March 18 Board of Education meeting, Jenna Driver (nee Lefort), a 2001 Pioneer graduate, was officially approved as the new Assistant Principal of Pioneer Middle School.

Mrs. Driver brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She began her teaching career in 2007 at the elementary level before transitioning to Pioneer as a school librarian at Delevan Elementary in 2017. In 2023, she moved to the middle school library, embracing the chance to work with older students for the first time, bringing fresh ideas and a dedication to student success.

“I’m honored to step into this role and continue serving the Pioneer community, which has been such an important part of my life,” Mrs. Driver said. “My goal is to support our students, staff, and families as we work together to ensure success for every child.”

Her academic journey is rooted in Western New York, where she earned degrees in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Education, and School Librarianship from SUNY Buffalo, followed by attending SUNY Fredonia where she is pursuing an advanced certification in Educational Leadership.

A resident of Wales, Mrs. Driver lives with her husband, Daniel, a 2000 Pioneer graduate, and their three children: Alaina (16), Brandon (14), and Callie (12). Outside of school, she’s an outdoor enthusiast who loves gardening, playing soccer, and spending time on the water during the summer. Winter often finds her on the ski slopes or cozied up enjoying a good book.

Mrs. Driver said she is humbled for this opportunity and can’t wait to get started in her new role, working alongside the dedicated staff and students at Pioneer Middle School
