Pioneer School District voters approved the 2024-25 general fund budget and elected four new school board members during polling on May 21.

The budget totals $67,773,295, with a spending increase of 3.14 percent and a 2,89 tax levy increase. The margin of approval was 493-254.

In the Board of Education race, the top two vote-getters earned five-year terms. The winners were Jim Fleischman (514 votes) and Pat Hoffman (453).

The third-place finisher, Kate Uhteg, earned a two-year term with 358 votes. The fourth-place finisher, Amanda McKerrow, earned a one-year term with 352 votes.

The board holds its reorganization meeting on July 1.
