Pioneer High School Agriculture teacher and FFA Advisor Jonathan Clayson has received the Empire Degree from the New York State FFA.
The Empire Degree was awarded during the state's recent FFA Convention and is the highest honor bestowed by the New York State FFA.
Superintendent Nicholas Silvaroli said, "This is a significant honor that reflects Jon's outstanding service, dedication, and commitment to both our students and our FFA chapter. I’m proud of Jon and grateful for his leadership, hard work, and contributions to Pioneer and our broader agricultural community. I’m really excited to see individuals like Jon being recognized for their efforts. No one is more deserving,"
