One of the most impressive win streaks in the history of Western New York athletics has come to an end.
On Jan. 30, Pioneer lost to Amherst, 42-15, ending the Panthers' dual win streak at 70.
The wrestling program's last dual league loss was Jan. 16, 2013, at Iroquois. The Panthers then went onto start their dual win streak against West Seneca East on Jan. 23, 2013.
Pioneer notched its 70th straight league win on Jan. 24 at Williamsville South.
