This year's Pioneer Board of Education election features five candidates seeking two five-year terms.
Polling takes place Tuesday, May 16, from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Pioneer High School, 12145 County Line Road, Yorkshire.
Candidates have been invited to appear at a Public Budget Hearing on Tuesday, May 2, at 5:30 p.m., prior to that evening's regular board meeting. During this time, each candidate will be given an opportunity to state publicly why they are running for a seat on the Board of Education.
The candidates will appear in the following order on the ballot:

Shawn Hannon (incumbent)
