The NYSED CBT Timeline indicates that all Grade 5 and Grade 8 students will be required to take the NYS Assessment for ELA, Math, and Science online in Spring 2024.

Therefore, Pioneer Central School has determined that students in Grades 4 and Grade 7 will be piloting the CBT NYS Assessment in Spring 2023 for both ELA and Math. Students in Grade 8 ELA will also be piloting the the CBT Assessment in Spring 2023.

This will provide teachers and students an adequate amount of time to prepare for the required online testing Spring 2024 testing.
