Pioneer School District has announced details of three state-required parent meetings on re-opening, to be held via Zoom.

All meetings are at 6pm. The dates are Thursday, August 13; Monday, August 17; and Thursday, August 20. (Please note that the date of the second meeting has been changed from August 18 to August 17)

Superintendent Benjamin Halsey said the first meeting will focus on procedures and expectations for a safe re-opening. There will also be discussion on the hybrid model of in-person and remote instruction. 

Those attending the virtual meetings are invited to submit questions via the Zoom chat feature; however, since this is a public meeting, questions about individual student needs will not addressed and are best directed to your school's principal via phone or email.

Planned topics during the second Zoom meeting August 17 include the opening week of school, the orientation process, transportation, food service and athletics.  Questions and comments can also be sent via chat at this session.

A last meeting will happen Thursday, August 20, at 6pm, to address any final matters.
