USE OF SCHOOL PROPERTY
The district's facilities are constantly in demand. The need for communication, coordination and scheduling for the many after-school activities is increasing year after year. In order to align school capabilities with the needs of its community participants, Pioneer needs to make some changes in its building usage request system and forms.
Pioneer requests a minimum of two weeks advance notice of requested building activities. The completed form should be returned to the main office of the building in which the activity will take place.
Any functions involving athletic fields, gymnasiums or swimming pools should be submitted to Jennifer Tatko in the athletic office at Pioneer High School. Upon submission of a completed Building Usage Request Form, the district requires a period to process and approve the request. Activities cannot take place before those who place requests have received an approved copy of the request form from the district office.
Applicants should not assume that the completion and submission of a request means that the activity will automatically take place on the dates requested. Pioneer needs to review the request, supporting documentation (e.g. insurance coverage) and communicate key information to custodians and others who may be involved in hosting the activity.
